| Through heating up the styrene monomer, we can obtain solid polymer which is called General Purpose Polystyrene resin and also called hard resin. Generally speaking, “General Purpose Grade" Polystyrene resin has the advantages such as glossy, transparent, and cheap ... etc.
But to point at its disadvantages such as britteness brittle, and the poor chemical endurance...etc, it can sompound with other monomer to improve the quality and develop different kinds of products, such as: High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Acrylonitrile-Styrene Copolymer: AS resin, Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Copolymer: ABS resin, etc., resins. |

| POLYREX® is the name for multiple PS resin, which presence the featnres of stability, goul apprescence, and economic function. POLYREX® PS is suitable for household items, office decorations, packing material, CD and cassette case.
The natural status is bright, colorless and transparent. It can be added in all kinds of coloring material to dye into all kinds of colors or semi-transparent items. Due to high rigidity, mechanical strength of GPPS is excellent even at low temperature and has very good insulation. It is odorless and non-absorbed. The density gravity is about 1.05, which is easy to process, and the dimension stability is excellent. The transparency in all plastics is worse than PMMA only.
There are PG-22, PG-33, PG-80, and PG-383, etc four kinds of GPPS products.

| PH-55Y is non-toxic. It meets the requirement of FDA,Japanese high center, and EN-71. It can also be used in food container and toys for kids. |

| Due to the brittleness of GPPS, we belended butadiene rubber with SM. It is semi-transparent so the impact strength is increased,and the dyeing and processing character is as good as GPPS.
High Impact Grade POLYREX® PS is widely used in computer side parts, TV case, home appliance and toys. POLYREX® serial products have passed UL and CSA approval.
Currently, the major products are: PH-55Y, PH-60, PH-88, PH-888H, PH-888G, PH-88S and PH-879, etc, seven kinds.

| HIPS is used in sheet and plate extrusion in large quantity, which mainly make use of its excellent elasticity and vacuum forming character, low humid-absorbed, and excellent mold transfer feature. It is mainly applied in toys (play card), decorating partition board, stationery, food packing, refrigerator lining and door lining. |
